Private Voice & Piano Lessons
Hannah has been teaching private Voice and Piano Lessons since 2019. She is passionate about creating a learning space that is fun, accessible, and student-centered, celebrating the thrill of growth at every point along your musical journey. Grounded in a lifetime of learning folk music by ear, bolstered by a degree in jazz vocal performance, and informed by time spent on the road and in recording studios, Hannah is well equipped to support a wide range of musical interests and learning styles. Private lessons are conducted online via Zoom or in-person in Nashville, TN.
Hannah aspires to be as much a lifelong student as an educator and performer. She is guided by curiosity about music as a means to deeper understand ourselves, each other, and our world. In teaching, Hannah aims to provide a safe and encouraging environment within which the student’s own curiosity can lead the way to fruitful lifelong music-making. Hannah’s teaching is informed by her studying of the LoVetri Method of Somatic Voicework,™ the Kodaly Method, jazz theory and improvisation, and a belief in the inherent worth and dignity of all people. She welcomes students ages five through adulthood.

“As a voice teacher, Hannah immediately made me feel super comfortable while also pushing me to try different techniques. She gave me direct feedback as well as just the right amount of time to explore some of the exercises and find my way.”
